YOUR BEAUTY NEEDS POLISHING

// Read Esther 2:12-14 //

12 Before a young woman’s turn came to go in to King Xerxes, she had to complete twelve months of beauty treatments prescribed for the women, six months with oil of myrrh and six with perfumes and cosmetics. 13 And this is how she would go to the king: Anything she wanted was given her to take with her from the harem to the king’s palace. 14 In the evening she would go there and in the morning return to another part of the harem to the care of Shaashgaz, the king’s eunuch who was in charge of the concubines. She would not return to the king unless he was pleased with her and summoned her by name.

MEDITATION:

It is not enough to be beautiful; your beauty still needs polishing. We need to understand this experience in the place of assignment in life. For you to carry beauty in life you still need that beauty to be polished so that it will last. This is the work of your Pastors, Fathers and Mentors. They are beauticians and it is the input they make to your life that will bring out the beauty that has been in you.

Allow their instructions just like Esther obeyed Mordecai and Hegai. You need to understand these two dimensions of input in order to wear beauty in destiny. The input of your Mordecai is for your character and the input of your Hegai is for your charisma. The prophetic and the professional must meet in you for your beauty to come out.

PRAYER: Father, I receive grace to bear the input for beauty.
