26 Now an angel of the Lord said to Philip, “Go south to the road—the desert road—that goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza.” 27 So he started out, and on his way he met an Ethiopian[a] eunuch, an important official in charge of all the treasury of the Kandake (which means “queen of the Ethiopians”). This man had gone to Jerusalem to worship,
MEDITATION:
Following divine guidance and counsel may not be reasonable as at the time of performance. For example, God asking Phillip to live hundreds of people in Samaria just to follow a soul, the Ethiopian Eunuch up, in the wilderness does not look reasonable. The Lord Almighty reserves the right to choose the way and how He wants to lead you, yours is to obey. God may not be reasonable immediately but ultimately you will see His wisdom prevailing above your own mortal wisdom. Eunuch from Ethiopian ultimately brought Gospel to Africa.
PRAYER: Oh Lord, I receive wisdom and grace to obey your Word.
