REVEALED WORD TODAY
// READ: ISAIAH 25:6-8 //
6 On this mountain the Lord Almighty will prepare
a feast of rich food for all peoples,
a banquet of aged wine—
the best of meats and the finest of wines.
7 On this mountain he will destroy
the shroud that enfolds all peoples,
the sheet that covers all nations;
8 he will swallow up death forever.
The Sovereign Lord will wipe away the tears
from all faces;
he will remove his people’s disgrace
from all the earth.
The Lord has spoken.
MEDITATION:
From this passage, other things to expect from God in the Church are:
1. Feast of fat things Vs6
2. Feast of fat things full of marrow Vs6
3. Feast of wines in the lees Vs6
4. Destruction of coverings and veils Vs7
5. Death will be swallowed up in victory Vs8
6. God will wipe away tears Vs8
7. Taking away of insults, mockery and reproaches Vs8
