14 and would plunge the fork into the pan or kettle or caldron or pot. Whatever the fork brought up the priest would take for himself. This is how they treated all the Israelites who came to Shiloh.
MEDITATION:
The situation in the days of Eli is what we are having in our days too. When the Lord consecrated the priests in the book of Leviticus they did not have fork, in those days they carried censers. But in the days of Eli, the sons of the priest devised fork to hook flesh from the worshippers in Shiloh. It used to be a free will offering but they compelled the worshippers to give meat without passing it through fire. Today, we are the royal priesthood of Christ, where is your censer, are you carrying censer or flesh hook?
