22 The seed falling among the thorns refers to someone who hears the word, but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke the word, making it unfruitful.
MEDITATION:
The thorny heart is typified by the following:
(i.) A worrying heart.
(ii.) Cumbersome by so many things.
(iii.) a heart occupied by the cares of this world.
(iv.) a heart ready to do anything for wealth or riches.
(v.) a heart that value the things of the world above the Word and the things of God.
(vi.) Lack correct estimation
(vii.) Competitive heart that compares.
(viii.) Lives by sight instead of faith.
This is very common in this generation, the Word of God thrived but it was not allowed to grow the fruition, because of the cares of this world. Is this the state of your heart?
PRAYER: Pray that your heart will be focused on God and His righteousness.
