12 At that time Marduk-Baladan son of Baladan king of Babylon sent Hezekiah letters and a gift, because he had heard of Hezekiah’s illness. 13 Hezekiah received the envoys and showed them all that was in his storehouses—the silver, the gold, the spices and the fine olive oil—his armory and everything found among his treasures. There was nothing in his palace or in all his kingdom that Hezekiah did not show them. (NIV)
12 At that time Merodach-baladan (the son of King Baladan of Babylon) sent ambassadors with greetings and a present to Hezekiah, for he had learned of his sickness. 13 Hezekiah welcomed them and showed them all his treasures—the silver, gold, spices, aromatic oils, the armory—everything.
MEDITATION:
The enemy always watches out for the time to strike in the life of believers. Therefore, each believer must be watchful in order to overcome the enemy’s attack. Take note of these points of enemy’s attack:
- At the point of sudden cordiality with the enemy verse 12
- When your enemy is aware of your point of weakness or sickness
- At your point of recovery or breakthrough verse 12
- Point of recognition of gifts ( presents)
- At the point of surprise or excitement verse 13
PRAYER: Father, I receive grace to be watchful and to overcome all these satanic pranks.
