MATURING YOUR VISION V

REVEALED WORD TODAY

// READ: 1 SAM. 1:23 //

23 “Do what seems best to you,” her husband Elkanah told her. “Stay here until you have weaned him; only may the Lord make good his[a] word.” So the woman stayed at home and nursed her son until she had weaned him.

MEDITATION:
Don’t offer your vision to the public without weaning it. Weaning means maturing; it starts with dependence and ends with independence. There was a change of structure in the body; teeth were coming out. Sucking of breast could no longer satisfy the boy so it must give way to eating food. Samuel must be taken to Shiloh, the place of fulfilment of the vision. Until you wean a vision you cannot make it public because it will not stand the test of time.

PRAYER: Pray for grace to sustain your vision correctly.
