22 So on the day of the battle not a soldier with Saul and Jonathan had a sword or spear in his hand; only Saul and his son Jonathan had them.
MEDITATION:
Saul was made the leader of the people but his leadership made men to be miserable. It was during his reign that sword was no longer available for use in the land. Are you a leader? What is happening to the life of men under your leadership? The Word of God is a sword and it is meant to create defense by offensive attack. We need people like David that can make many swords to multiply (I Sam. 24:9). We need disciples that can raise men and women with the sword and can handle the sword for the generation to come. Do you have a sword and can you handle the sword against the enemy?
PRAYER: Pray for the sword of the Spirit to multiply among men.
