3 When David returned to his palace in Jerusalem, he took the ten concubineshe had left to take care of the palace and put them in a house under guard. He provided for them but had no sexual relations with them. They were kept in confinement till the day of their death, living as widows.
MEDITATION:
In all the miseries of David, from one challenge to the other, he did not give up on God he held on to the Lord. The King came back into his throne despite all challenges, assault and opposition witnessed within and without. He overcame all and return to his throne. The situations and circumstances may not be pleasant but be assured you shall be restored. The Lord will bring you again to the place of His glory.
PRAYER: Father, give me grace not to give up before the day of my glory.
