15 and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death.

Another strategy of the enemy is fear. Hebrew 2:15 talks about those who through fear of death were are their lifetime subject to bondage. Fear has torment and the strength of fear is ignorance or wrong knowledge. Insecurity can result in fear too. The devil uses fear to steal the future or peace of God’s people. Peter was already walking on the sea until he stopped looking at Jesus. The antidote is knowledge. Acquire knowledge of the unknown, or clarify the truth (John 12:46).
