ERRORS OF DESTINY CARRIERS

// Read Genesis 25:19-26 //

¹⁹This is the account of the family line of Abraham’s son Isaac.

Abraham became the father of Isaac, ²⁰and Isaac was forty years oldwhen he married Rebekah daughter of Bethuel the Aramean from Paddan Aram^[a] and sister of Laban the Aramean.

²¹Isaac prayed to the Lord on behalf of his wife, because she was childless. The Lord answered his prayer, and his wife Rebekah became pregnant. ²²The babies jostled each other within her, and she said, “Why is this happening to me?” So she went to inquire of the Lord.

²³The Lord said to her,

“Two nations are in your womb,
and two peoples from within you will be separated;
one people will be stronger than the other,
and the older will serve the younger.”

²⁴When the time came for her to give birth, there were twin boys in her womb. ²⁵The first to come out was red, and his whole body was like a hairy garment; so they named him Esau.^[b] ²⁶After this, his brother came out, with his hand grasping Esau’s heel; so he was named Jacob.^[c]Isaac was sixty years old when Rebekah gave birth to them.

MEDITATION:

Many of us are like Rebecca that had the opportunity to carry two nations in her womb but her level of understanding affected the fulfillment. Two great men Esau and Jacob were put in her care. This is the kind of error that destiny carriers always make. You need not limit your future in the context of present condition of delivery.

Condition of delivering is different from context of delivering. Rebecca named these children on the basis of their condition in delivering without paying attention to the content of the entities that she delivered. Both of them are nations so they were to be great in destiny, don’t limit what God is doing in your life by the way it comes.

PRAYER: Father, I receive grace not to commit error in the place of fulfillment of destiny.
