17 Then I said to them, “You see the trouble we are in: Jerusalem lies in ruins, and its gates have been burned with fire. Come, let us rebuild the wall of Jerusalem, and we will no longer be in disgrace.”

MEDITATION:
Nehemiah considered the breaking down of the walls as disgrace; whatever breaks down a life or home establishment always speak of disgrace. It takes plans and strategies to win (v12&16).
We need the gracious hands of God to handle the disgrace of the enemy (v18, ruins need rebuilding. For every disgrace, there is a backup (the Sanballats and Tobiahs). Fight the backup (source).

PRAYER: Oh Lord, by your gracious hands deliver me from disgrace.
