MEDITATION:
Intimacy means closeness, proximity and nearness. In Mk. 3:14, the first purpose Jesus had in mind when He called the disciple was intimacy.
i. You can only be for God when you have been with God
ii. Interpretation of encounter is a function of your intimate understanding
iii. Intimacy will take something off you. God told Moses to remove his slippers when he drew near to Him
iv. You have to draw near to God before He will draw near to you
