16 Then they moved on from Bethel. While they were still some distance from Ephrath, Rachel began to give birth and had great difficulty.
MEDITATION:
Several lives are fighting the battle of ‘almost’ there. Rachael was almost there not far from Ephrath but she could not make it to Ephrath; she died along the way. She travailed and had hard labour which she could not survive. Travailing and hard labour are two elements that keep a man from getting to his destination in life. Several of us have carried our ‘Benjamins’ the product of our lives but travail and hard labour have made us to give birth to ‘Benoni’than when we were almost there.
PRAYER: Oh Lord, deliver me from evil travail and hard labour that makes a man to die before getting to his destination.
