REVEALED WORD TODAY
// READ: JOHN 16:8; PSALM 141:5 //
8 When he comes, he will prove the world to be in the wrong about sin and righteousness and judgment:
PSALM 141:5
Let a righteous man strike me—that is a kindness;
let him rebuke me—that is oil on my head.
My head will not refuse it,
for my prayer will still be against the deeds of evildoers.
MEDITATION:
Reprove will not break your head but will rather make your head. One of the causes of downfall of Samson was that he was not subjected to any reprove; He carried oil but he did not partake of excellent oil of reprove. Saul the King also fell because he turned his father Samuel – that should reproved him to a comrade and that ruined his destiny. The Scripture says if you re without reprove you are a bastard (Hebrew 12:8). Are you yielding to the reprove of your superiors and God Almighty? If not, amend your ways.
PRAYER: Ask God to give you the grace to bear and endure reprove.
