WHERE OPPORTUNITY HIDES

// Read I Kings 4:8-13 //

These are their names:

Ben-Hur—in the hill country of Ephraim;

Ben-Deker—in Makaz, Shaalbim, Beth Shemesh and Elon Bethhanan;

10 Ben-Hesed—in Arubboth (Sokoh and all the land of Hepher were his);

11 Ben-Abinadab—in Naphoth Dor (he was married to Taphath daughter of Solomon);

12 Baana son of Ahilud—in Taanach and Megiddo, and in all of Beth Shan next to Zarethan below Jezreel, from Beth Shan to Abel Meholah across to Jokmeam;

13 Ben-Geber—in Ramoth Gilead (the settlements of Jair son of Manasseh in Gilead were his, as well as the region of Argob in Bashan and its sixty large walled cities with bronze gate bars);

MEDITATION:
Opportunity always hides itself from the public glare and that is why it is not every eye that sees opportunity. Where does it hide?
1. Opportunity hides in challenges like Zacchaeus that reached out to Jesus on Sycamore tree, he made use of opportunity.
2. Opportunity hides in godly character like Ruth that was busy in the field of Boaz, she eventually ended up as wife of Boaz.
3. Opportunity also hides in connections: Joseph of Arimathea’s connection to Jesus brought the opportunity of the sepulcher where they laid Jesus – John 19:38.
4. Opportunity also hides in right and good way of communication.
One of the thieves on the cross spoke well, and that connected him to be with Jesus in Paradise; the words of Joseph also made him to be remembered.

PRAYER: Pray about this so that you will not be losing opportunities in life.
