// Read: Ephesians 5:8-13 //
8 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light 9 (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) 10 and find out what pleases the Lord. 11 Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. 12 It is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret. 13 But everything exposed by the light becomes visible—and everything that is illuminated becomes a light.

MEDITATION:
Believers of Christ are called Children of Light and we are to walk as such. Christians as the Light of God should show forth, manifest behaviour and conduct that depicts light. Light shines, light illuminates and it reflects; so should the Light of Christ. The works of darkness is termed unfruitful, every form of fruitlessness is not of Christ. Fruitfulness depicts Light and the fruit is called fruit of the Spirit (verse 9). The Scripture says “The fruit of the Spirit is in ALL goodness; righteousness and truth”. These are the three cardinal factors that depict Light. If you are not doing goodness, righteousness and truth, you are in darkness; to walk in the Light as children of Light is to walk in ALL goodness, righteousness and truth.
PRAYER: Pray that you will walk as Children of Light.
