4 As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. 2 Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. 3 Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.

MEDITATION: Walk and work in Christ are related in order to bring the purpose of God to pass in our generation. Your walk with God is superior to your work for God; if you don’t have a walk with God (Character) you cannot have a work for Him. This is why we are admonished to walk worthy of the vocation wherewith we are called. Walking with God means walking in His Word on a daily basis, believing His word and doing what He says. By this, we will walk with holiness, meekness with longsuffering of the Lord and forbear your brothers in love in the bond of peace. You cannot walk with God when you are not in LOVE and PEACE with His people. Today, people do the work in bitterness and strife, such is not acceptable to God. You must comply with His word before you do His work.

PRAYER: Father, give me grace to walk and work with you.
