34 Jesus spoke all these things to the crowd in parables; he did not say anything to them without using a parable. 35 So was fulfilled what was spoken through the prophet:
“I will open my mouth in parables,
I will utter things hidden since the creation of the world.”[a]
The Parable of the Weeds Explained
36 Then he left the crowd and went into the house. His disciples came to him and said, “Explain to us the parable of the weeds in the field.”
MEDITATION:
A lot of ‘Christians’ are not different from who they were before they got saved. They still solve their problems the way the world does and there manner is not of the Kingdom. It is because the things of the Kingdom are hidden unto them.
Every Christian must have the attitude of ‘seeking’ when it comes to the Kingdom of God. Jesus said, ‘Seek ye first the Kingdom of God’. To break into the things of the Kingdom, one must seek (Matt. 6:33, 7:7-8). Seeking is to go in search or quest of something. Beloved, is this your attitude to the things of God?
PRAYER: Pray that you will begin to seek the Kingdom of God as Jesus commanded
