21 Afterward Jesus appeared again to his disciples, by the Sea of Galilee.[a] It happened this way: 2 Simon Peter, Thomas (also known as Didymus[b]), Nathanael from Cana in Galilee, the sons of Zebedee, and two other disciples were together. 3 “I’m going out to fish,” Simon Peter told them, and they said, “We’ll go with you.” So they went out and got into the boat, but that night they caught nothing.
MEDITATION:
What is it that will influence you this year and how? Whoever influences you will command your followership. Take note of these factors:
i. Every man can be influenced
ii. Influence is Leadership
iii. What you do not honour, value or respect cannot influence you
iv. Influence is a matter of choice not force
v. Every man is a product of past influence
When you get capacity like Peter to Influence people like Peter don’t lead people backward but forward.
Prayer: Pray that you will not lead people backward but forward.
