// Read I Tim. 1:18-20 //
18 Timothy, my son, I am giving you this command in keeping with the prophecies once made about you, so that by recalling them you may fight the battle well, 19 holding on to faith and a good conscience, which some have rejected and so have suffered shipwreck with regard to the faith. 20 Among them are Hymenaeus and Alexander, whom I have handed over to Satan to be taught not to blaspheme.
MEDITATION:
Prophecies are to give confidences to fight a good warfare. Many people relax in the place of prayer after they had received a prophecy. This is not supposed to be so. A good warfare is fought on the strength of a prophecy. It assures us that if we do not give up, the prophecy will surely come to pass. Prophecy can be from the Scripture like Daniel and the captive in Babylon or God can send prophecy through His vessels.
PRAYER: Fight a good warfare today with the prophecy that has gone before you.
