13 When Samuel reached him, Saul said, “The Lord bless you! I have carried out the Lord’s instructions.”
14 But Samuel said, “What then is this bleating of sheep in my ears? What is this lowing of cattle that I hear?”
MEDITATION:
The Lord demands total and not partial obedience. Saul said “I have performed the commandments of the Lord” whereas he spared Agag and some fattened sheep and goats. Do you also do selective obedience? Do you see what is good in what you should destroy?
There is nothing good in whatever God says you should destroy, the bleating of the sheep is the confirmation of selective obedience. It shows what you are hiding.
PRAYER: Go on your knees and surrender all to Christ today.
