13 For we were all baptized by[a] one Spirit so as to form one body—whether Jews or Gentiles, slave or free—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink.
MEDITATION:
Holy Spirit has so many symbolic references in the word of God, among others is water. Holy Spirit as water shows that He needs:
i. A container
ii. To fill the available space in the container
iii. To fill up to the capacity of the container.
iv. The intake is a function of thirst
Until a man needs water, water is not relevant to him. So the relevance of the Holy Spirit in your life depends on your degree of thirst. Increase your capacity so that you have more of His presence. We take water in, so it is your inside that determines your function outside.
PRAYER: Holy Spirit, I want to drink more of you for power and to function.
