1 The Lord said to Samuel, “How long will you mourn for Saul, since I have rejected him as king over Israel? Fill your horn with oil and be on your way; I am sending you to Jesse of Bethlehem. I have chosen one of his sons to be king.”
MEDITATION:
What are you worrying or mourning about? The Lord said stop mourning and take action. You should stop mourning because;
a. There is an alternative to Saul, even a better alternative, go for it.
b. Saul has become part of history, go for another story.
c. This is another morning, stop mourning! Weeping only endures but for the night.
Know what to do to identity your David; don’t look at the height of Eliab. Look up to God, He will show you the right way.
PRAYER: Lord, help me to embrace the new morning and thus get the right way.
