// Read I Kings 17:4-7 //
4 You will drink from the brook, and I have directed the ravens to supply you with food there.”
5 So he did what the Lord had told him. He went to the Kerith Ravine, east of the Jordan, and stayed there. 6 The ravens brought him bread and meat in the morning and bread and meat in the evening, and he drank from the brook.
Elijah and the Widow at Zarephath
7 Some time later the brook dried up because there had been no rain in the land.
MEDITATION:
Another reason why people could not enter purpose from problems or challenges is that some of them do enjoy the privileges of problem so much so that they don’t press into the purpose.
Elijah was just enjoying free foods and water at brook Cherith and he was not bothered about the famine that generated that privilege. Eventually the brook dried and Elijah moved from there into a new purpose by God. So there is a time for you to press into divine purpose because the brook that God commanded can dry up.
PRAYER: I receive wisdom to handle the signs of times for fulfillment of purpose.
