REVEALED WORD TODAY
// READ: 1 SAMUEL 1:19-22 //
19 Early the next morning they arose and worshiped before the Lord and then went back to their home at Ramah. Elkanah made love to his wife Hannah, and the Lord remembered her. 20 So in the course of time Hannah became pregnant and gave birth to a son. She named him Samuel,[a] saying, “Because I asked the Lord for him.”
Hannah Dedicates Samuel
21 When her husband Elkanah went up with all his family to offer the annual sacrifice to the Lord and to fulfill his vow, 22 Hannah did not go. She said to her husband, “After the boy is weaned, I will take him and present him before the Lord, and he will live there always.”[b]
MEDITATION:
There is a time you have to personally pour into what God has given you (Verse2). You need to give your own milk to your new dream (Samuel). The reason why several people’s dreams and vision did not survive is that they want their vision to be fed by another man. You need to give attention to your little Samuel in order for him to mature. The baby is changing with time as you feed him. You should stop making excuses for things that are not growing. Are you feed it like Samuel?
PRAYER: Father give me grace to nurture the vision given to me to maturity.
