// Read: Isaiah 41:10-14; Nehemiah 6:11-14 //
10 So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
11 “All who rage against you
will surely be ashamed and disgraced;
those who oppose you
will be as nothing and perish.
12 Though you search for your enemies,
you will not find them.
Those who wage war against you
will be as nothing at all.
13 For I am the Lord your God
who takes hold of your right hand
and says to you, Do not fear;
I will help you.
14 Do not be afraid, you worm Jacob,
little Israel, do not fear,
for I myself will help you,” declares the Lord,
your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.
Nehemiah 6:11-14
11 But I said, “Should a man like me run away? Or should someone like me go into the temple to save his life? I will not go!” 12 I realized that God had not sent him, but that he had prophesied against me because Tobiah and Sanballat had hired him. 13 He had been hired to intimidate me so that I would commit a sin by doing this, and then they would give me a bad name to discredit me.
14 Remember Tobiah and Sanballat, my God, because of what they have done; remember also the prophet Noadiah and how she and the rest of the prophets have been trying to intimidate me.
MEDITATION: You need to know what to do to keep the Spirit of fear in perpetual control.
1. Know that you are also fearfully made; you carry fear – Genesis 9:2; Exodus 23:27.
2. The Lord Almighty is with thee; – Genesis 26:24; Isaiah 41:10.
3. Fear the Lord only. Let God be your fear – Deuteronomy 5:29; 6:13; 6:24
4. Fear Not; Believe Only – Luke 8:50
5. Control what you See and Hear. – Job 31:1; Num. 13:26-14:1
Your eyes have covering, fear uses gates of ears and eyes to enter into the mind, so control your gates.
PRAYER: Pray about these parts of your body to overcome fear.
