9 Joshua did to them as the Lord had directed: He hamstrung their horses and burned their chariots.

6 The Lord said to Joshua, “Do not be afraid of them, because by this time tomorrow I will hand all of them, slain, over to Israel. You are to hamstring their horses and burn their chariots.”

7 So Joshua and his whole army came against them suddenly at the Waters of Merom and attacked them,

MEDITATION:
Enemy may have horses and chariots (tools and privileges) but miming is not by horses. Don’t be deceived by the horses of the enemy. Just understand
i. The instructions of God (v 6-7). Your confidence should be in God not in the horses and chariots of the enemy.
ii. You cannot take the land by riding on the horses of the enemy (Psalm 20); scatter the horses and burn the chariots in fire.
PRAYER: Oh Lord I build my confidence in you, help me with your power.
