Jesus Predicts His Death a Second Time
22 When they came together in Galilee, he said to them, “The Son of Man is going to be delivered into the hands of men. 23 They will kill him, and on the third day he will be raised to life.” And the disciples were filled with grief.
MEDITATION:
The best way to know when the Devil is at work is that He savours the things of man and not God. If that thing is pleasing to the flesh and against the Will of God, the Devil is involved resist or flee and you will win the battle. That is what Jesus did in the passage today. Peter’s suggestion is appealing to the flesh and not the Will of God and He rebuked the Devil instantly.
PRAYER: Pray for grace to always identify the devil on time and not fall for his wiles.
