// Read Acts 16:14-15, 4 //
14 One of those listening was a woman from the city of Thyatira named Lydia, a dealer in purple cloth. She was a worshiper of God. The Lord opened her heart to respond to Paul’s message. 15 When she and the members of her household were baptized, she invited us to her home. “If you consider me a believer in the Lord,” she said, “come and stay at my house.” And she persuaded us.
MEDITATION:
This is a graphical illustration of what we have been studying. God opened the heart of Lydia and she attended to the things spoken of Paul. She was transformed and baptized because God dealt with her heart! What is your attitude to God’s dealing in your heart? Are you hardening your heart? Read Hebrew 3:7-15. Let the Word of God be a profit to you.
PRAYER: Pray for grace to be willing and not harden your hearts to the Lord.
