20 But Esther had kept secret her family background and nationality just as Mordecai had told her to do, for she continued to follow Mordecai’s instructions as she had done when he was bringing her up.

John 2:1-3
On the third day a wedding took place at Cana in Galilee. Jesus’ mother was there, 2 and Jesus and his disciples had also been invited to the wedding. 3 When the wine was gone, Jesus’ mother said to him, “They have no more wine.”

MEDITATION:
Followership of Jesus Christ demands complete obedience, obedience to the full instructions of the Master. If you are not ready to obey the Master you cannot follow Him. The followership of Christ cannot be on your own terms, it is only on the term of our Lord Jesus Christ. Any obedience that is not immediate, complete and sacrificial is not obedience in the way of followership of the Lord Jesus Christ.

PRAYER: Father, bestow on me grace to obey you in all things.
