REVEALED WORD TODAY
// Read: Acts 16:1-3 //
16 Paul came to Derbe and then to Lystra, where a disciple named Timothy lived, whose mother was Jewish and a believer but whose father was a Greek. 2 The believers at Lystra and Iconium spoke well of him. 3 Paul wanted to take him along on the journey, so he circumcised him because of the Jews who lived in that area, for they all knew that his father was a Greek.
MEDITATION:
The followership of Jesus Christ is going to cost you circumcision. Circumcision in this regard is not that of the flesh but of the heart. You have to cut off every tendency of disobedience, arrogance and other works of the flesh if you will be fit to follow Him. Although Timothy was a grown up adult, he was of a Gentile background, art of circumcision was carried out formerly on him. You know you cannot circumcise yourself, so be ready to yield yourself to whosoever the Lord will use. Be ready to be circumcised.
PRAYER: Pray that you will pay the demand of circumcision in followership
