59 The following came up from the towns of Tel Melah, Tel Harsha, Kerub, Addon and Immer, but they could not show that their families were descended from Israel:

| Hobaiah, Hakkoz and Barzillai (a man who had married a daughter of Barzillai the Gileadite and was called by that name). |
62 These searched for their family records, but they could not find them and so were excluded from the priesthood as unclean. 63 The governor ordered them not to eat any of the most sacred food until there was a priest ministering with the Urim and Thummim.
MEDITATION:
In the journey of the children of Israel back to Jerusalem from the land of Babylon, their leaders found out that some of them were product of polluted seed, they could not show their father’s house. Every seed is a function of a house; you have to be traceable to a house physically so also you have to be of house spiritually. When your seed is not traceable to a house you are of the polluted or a bastard origin. In the Church today we have corrupt seed and polluted seed producing wrong fruits and attitude. There is a need for the true seed (the remnant seed of God) to arise and separate the polluted seed from the fold.
PRAYER: Oh Lord give me grace to carry the true seed of the Kingdom.
