In my former book, Theophilus, I wrote about all that Jesus began to do and to teach 2 until the day he was taken up to heaven, after giving instructions through the Holy Spirit to the apostles he had chosen.

23 Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people.

MEDITATION:
Deeds and words were the alternate beats of Jesus’ heart and they should be the alternate beats of our hearts too. With Jesus, the content of His words went into actions. This is how it must be with us too. Some talk more than they act and others act more than they talk. Some people preach the Gospel but their lives do not match what they preach. The words will lack power if they are not be backed up by a righteous life.

PRAYER: Lord, help me to back up my words with a righteous life.
