19 “What things?” he asked.

“About Jesus of Nazareth,” they replied. “He was a prophet, powerful in word and deed before God and all the people.

ACTS 7:20-22
20 “At that time Moses was born, and he was no ordinary child.[a] For three months he was cared for by his family. 21 When he was placed outside, Pharaoh’s daughter took him and brought him up as her own son. 22 Moses was educated in all the wisdom of the Egyptians and was powerful in speech and action.

MEDITATION:
A Christian must be balanced in words and deeds. In our texts today, Jesus was said to be a Prophet mighty in words and deeds before God and all people. This should be one of our goals as a child of God. We must not just be mighty in words but we must walk our talk i.e always do what we say. Moses is another example. It is possible to achieve this with the help of the Holy Spirit. Note that we must be mighty in words and deeds not before men alone but before God. It must be before God and people!

PRAYER: Pray for the grace to walk your talk before God and men.
