WHAT MAKES A MAN GREAT

REVEALED WORD TODAY

// READ: GENESIS 26:1; 12-14 //
Now there was a famine in the land—besides the previous famine in Abraham’s time—and Isaac went to Abimelek king of the Philistines in Gerar.

Verse 12-14
12 Isaac planted crops in that land and the same year reaped a hundredfold, because the Lord blessed him. 13 The man became rich, and his wealth continued to grow until he became very wealthy. 14 He had so many flocks and herds and servants that the Philistines envied him.

MEDITATION:
Greatness in the Kingdom of God is possible when we are ready to follow His Divine Instruction. From the life of Isaac, we can study the things that can make a man great because he became great. Learn from the following things that he did:
i. He did not go down to Egypt (the way of the world).
ii. He dwelt in Gerar (Divine Appointed place).
iii. He avoided deception (vs 7), it prolongs the day of Joy.
iv. He sowed seed (Vs. 12), whatever you desire to become sow seed towards it.
v. He established a divine relationship (Vs 12)
vi. He obeyed divine instruction (Vs. 6).
vii. He avoided divine alternatives (Vs. 8).
viii. He applied divine principles (Vs. 12).

PRAYER: Grace to do all that Isaac did, Father Lord, release to my life.
