3 Our God is in heaven;
he does whatever pleases him.
MEDITATION:
Sovereignty of God speaks of the will and the pleasure of God over every other factors. It is the judgement of God about situation that no man can upturn. There are few examples that show the sovereignty of God in humanity e.g
i. Jesus healed just one man by the pool of Bethesda where there are multitude of sick folks – John 5:2-9
ii. He prayed for Peter but asked Judas to go and do what he was doing quickly – John 13:27; Luke 22:3
iii. Jacob he loved; Esua he hated – Romans 9:1-16
iv. Many widows were in Israel in the days of Elijah but God sent him to widow at Zarephath.
Prayer: Pray that the sovereignty of God will favour you.
