CONDITIONS FOR RESTORATION III (MAY THURSDAY 5, 2022)

MEDITATION:

We will look at one more illustration of how a correct knowledge of God can help a child of God. David sinned against God by counting the people (Verse 1) and God was displeased with him. But he made a decision to fall into the hand of God when given three options because of his correct knowledge of God. In verse 13, David said unto Gad, “I am in a great strait, let me fall now into the hand of the Lord for very great are his mercies…” And in verse 15, the Scripture says God repented of the evil! Just as it was written about Him in Joel 2:13. Beloved, spend time with the Scripture to understand God for who He is and enjoy Him.

PRAYER: Lord, help me to understand and walk in the correct knowledge of you like David.
