7 Come, let us go down and confuse their language so they will not understand each other.”
8 So the Lord scattered them from there over all the earth, and they stopped building the city. 9 That is why it was called Babel[a]—because there the Lord confused the language of the whole world. From there the Lord scattered them over the face of the whole earth.
MEDITATION:
You need to understand that God can scatter things that will not stand. There is a divine purpose for everything; God will not approve anything that will not fulfil divine purpose. The Almighty God will not mind scattering it. Here, the Lord scattered the people because they were having a wrong gathering. What is it that you are doing that God will eventually scatter? Stop it today and re-consecrate yourself to God. Don’t let your focus this year end in confusion, Babel.
PRAYER: Oh Lord, give me grace to build things that God approves this year.
