11 and to make it your ambition to lead a quiet life: You should mind your own business and work with your hands, just as we told you, 12 so that your daily life may win the respect of outsiders and so that you will not be dependent on anybody.
MEDITATION:
The third rule is ‘to work with your own hands. Anyone that is not working with his hands is not supposed to live above lack. Display of skills and prowess in the place of assignment will give you an edge over others. There are men these days that have been messed up because they are doing nothing with their hands. Your hands must be engaged by locating what God calls “your own”.
PRAYER: Father, open my eyes to what you have called ‘my own’ business.
