REVEALED WORD TODAY

In the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, in order to fulfill the word of the Lord spoken by Jeremiah, the Lord moved the heart of Cyrus king of Persia to make a proclamation throughout his realm and also to put it in writing:

2 “This is what Cyrus king of Persia says:

“‘The Lord, the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth and he has appointed me to build a temple for him at Jerusalem in Judah.

MEDITATION:
Awesome God! Mighty God! The answer to Daniel’s good warfare is recorded in today’s text. He took time because a vision is for an appointed time but it came to pass during the reign of Cyrus king of Persia. And beloved, Daniel lived to see the fulfillment of this prophecy Daniel 10:1, Daniel was still with the king of Persia in the third year of his reign and the captive went back to Jerusalem in the first year of his reign! Be encouraged in your heart this morning and arise and wage a good warfare for the fulfillment of your prophecies.

PRAYER: confess your confidence in the ability of God to do the impossible and ask him to intervene in that situation so that His Word will be a reality.
