21 In the Lord’s hand the king’s heart is a stream of water
that he channels toward all who please him.
2 A person may think their own ways are right,
but the Lord weighs the heart.
3 To do what is right and just
is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice.
4 Haughty eyes and a proud heart—
the unplowed field of the wicked—produce sin.
MEDITATION:
It can never be over emphasized that the heart of a man is the focus of God. He controls a man from his heart, he weighs the heart. The heart of the matter is the matter of the heart. Humility and pride are (matters) states of the heart. God exalts the humble and hate the proud. If God should weigh your heart today will you pass?
PRAYER: Pray Psalm 139:23 fervently today.
